13 giugno 2018 – Pieni di gioia e di aspettative, quel giorno ci spingemmo ancora più a ovest, e andammo a vedere l’iconico faro di Neist Point che si affaccia sull’oceano.
Il meteo non ci era proprizio, e quando arrivammo, dopo aver percorso numerosi km di strette strade scozzesi, fummo accolti da venti che sferzavano a velocità folli, tanto che dovevamo camminare piegati in avanti, e una fastidiosissima pioggia.
Purtroppo questo ha reso difficile la realizzazione delle foto e non sono riuscito a fare tutte quelle che volevo. Soprattutto non si vedono le migliaia di pecore che ci circondavano.
Per fortuna la mia Pentax è tropicalizzata anche se le gocce d’acqua sporcavano l’obiettivo.
13 June 2018 – Full of joy and expectation, that day we went even further west to see the iconic Neist Point lighthouse overlooking the ocean. The weather wasn’t right for us, and when we arrived, after many miles of narrow Scottish roads, we were greeted by winds blowing at crazy speeds, so much so that we had to walk bent forward, and a very annoying rain. Unfortunately this made it difficult to take the pictures and I wasn’t able to take as many as I wanted. Above all, we couldn’t see the thousands of sheep around us. Luckily my Pentax is tropicalized even though the drops of water dirtied the lens.
